Caramel Flame Moss

This caramel and white moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On rotten logs, and In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they are exceptionally hardy, and is overwhelmingly delicate.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late summer to release hundred of spores.
