Bog Moss

This brown moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In moorlands, In bogs, and In heathlands.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly durable.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release thousands of spores; it does not cause many allergic reactions.
