Indigo Blaze Bloom

This large flower grows up to 6.7 feet (2.0 meters) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is thin, and the large, silver leaves are fan-like with serrated edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two tiny flowers sit at the end of the stem. The flowers are 59 cm (23.2 inches) wide, with petals that are either indigo or white, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 curved petals. They detach easily.

It has a powerful scent that smells like burning wood, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to a specific species.
