Slatevine Grass

This short, slate and pastel green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in extensive patches that are rigid.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, slate tail.

During the late autumn, it produces a modest amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few giant grains.
