Emerald Flimsy Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In moorlands, On rotten logs, and In damp forests.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very flimsy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
