Twistvine

This modest-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 34 feet (10.4 meters) and growing as high as 22 feet (6.7 meters).

It takes 12 months for the emerald stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The 2 pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are crimson on the sides and azure at the center, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces a handful of average violet flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny berries.
