Climbing Silverpine

This big shrub grows up to 6 feet (1.8 meters) tall and lives for around 56 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous wide, straight stems covered in wrinkled, silver bark, and the wood inside is gray.

The branches trail down towards the ground with hundreds of twigs that and are covered with sparse amounts of huge, needle-like, leaves with tattered edges. The leaves themselves are generally gold, flimsy and smooth.

It produces many medium-sized, brown flowers with slender, pointed petals. They are very delicate and have the faintest scent that smells like fermented fruit. In mid-summer it forms medium-sizedblood red, spiky-shelled seeds.
