Emerald Clump Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In marshes, In rainy mountain ranges, and In damp forests.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very hardy.
When mature, emerald oval-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
