Bloodgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its stem)

This small, blood red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thin stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, azure tuft.

During the early autumn, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of large grains.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
