Climbing Peach Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,191 feet (363.0 meters) and growing as high as 672 feet (204.8 meters).

It takes 42 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 1.1 feet (33 cm) and are tough and woody.

The very narrow and elongated, rough leaves reach up to 1.9 feet (58 cm) in length. They are generally peach, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces many clusters of small pink flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny fruits.

It comes in 14 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
