Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 8 feet (2.4 meters) and growing as high as 146 feet (44.5 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 11 months for the silver stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are tough and woody.

The 9 pointed, sticky leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are light blue at the bottom and azure with indigo edges at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a handful of small peach flowers.
