Caramelvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 41 feet (12.5 meters) and growing as high as 894 feet (272.5 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 16 months for the caramel stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are smooth and fuzzy.

The very narrow and elongated, crispy leaves reach up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) in length. They are solid green or drab yellow, with olive lines, and have tattered edges.


It is often home to a particular bird species.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
