Climbing Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 24 feet (7.3 meters) and growing as high as 400 feet (121.9 meters).

It takes 11 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.

The triangular, rough leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are solid blood red or turquoise, with bright green edges, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces handfuls of small subtle red flowers.

The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
