Climbing Aquamarine Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This giant vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,156 feet (657.1 meters) and growing as high as 660 feet (201.2 meters).

It takes 13 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2.1 feet (64 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The 3 pointed, crispy leaves reach up to 8 inches (20 cm) in length. They are aquamarine on the edges and olive at the center, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the vine produces clusters of small pink flowers.


The colour changes depends on whether the soil is acidic or alkaline.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
