Climbing Crimson Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short vine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 47 feet (14.3 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.

It takes 4 months for the brown stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and woody.

The finger-like, rough leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are lime green with red tips, and have smooth edges.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
The leaves are bitter, but very healthy.
