Emerald Capsule Moss

This gray-green moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In marshes, In rainforests, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is extremely hardy.
When mature, emerald cylindrical capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.

It is often referred to as the most beautiful of all flowers.
