Crimson Daisy

Flower type: Annual (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its crimson stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 3 and are thick and straight, and split into numerous branching stems at the base, and the miniature, green leaves are light emerald on the underside and are very thick with serrated edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Dozens of tiny flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 17 cm (6.7 inches) wide, with peach petals that gradient shift to brilliant red on the outer edge. The central disk is cyan. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 curved petals. They are hardy.

It has no scent, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
