Eternal Pine

This big tree grows up to 61 meters (200.1 feet) tall and lives "forever", with many known specimens being tens of thousands of years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a branched, straight trunk covered in rough, yellow bark, and inside, the flexible wood is gray.

The excessive amount of branches trail down towards the ground, with hundreds of twigs covered with small amounts of miniature, gray-green needles. The needles themselves are frail.

In late summer it produces small, olive, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
