Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 6 feet (1.8 meters) and growing as high as 141 feet (43.0 meters).

It takes 6 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The needle-like, waxy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are hazel at the bottom and crimson with orange zig-zags at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces thick bunches of average turquoise flowers.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
