Clinging Muskfruit
Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short fruit tree grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall and lives for up to 25 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 46 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has a long and flexible, straight trunk covered in thin, smooth, burgundy and brown bark, and inside, the hard wood is burgundy.
The numerous branches are short and thin and are covered with small bunches of large, very thick leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in copper, green and green varieties.
In early spring, it produces several small, gold blossoms with oval-shaped shaped petals. They are sturdy and have an intensely strong scent that smells like musk.
