Caramel Vine

This giant flower grows up to 11.6 feet (3.5 meters) tall. Its silver stem is very thin and straight, and the giant, orange or red leaves are wispy with tattered edges. 25 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 58 cm (22.8 inches) wide, with petals that are caramel on the edges and beige at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 57 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like paint, and it has lots of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also particularly attractive to insects.
