Aquacone Fruit Tree

This large fruit tree grows up to 45 feet (13.7 meters) tall and lives for up to 20 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 34 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a sturdy, curved trunk covered in thin, ridged, brown-green speckled bark, and inside, the very light wood is brown.

The branches are short and thin and are covered with thick bunches of huge, fan-like leaves with ripped edges. The leaves themselves are aquamarine and azure.

In early spring, it produces many bunches of tiny, amber blossoms with perforated petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a mildly strong scent that smells like pepper.

In early summer it produces , triangular fruit. The sticky bronze skin is stretchy and sweet and bitter, and the crunchy lilac flesh is bitter and very dry. The pale red seeds are tiny and are located in the centre of the fruit.

The roots form a tightly packed ball, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with grassy ground between them.
