It takes 3 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.
The broad, flat, sticky leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are found in grey, turquoise and pink varieties, and have irregular edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of average lime flowers.
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
