Emerald Clump Moss

This gray moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainy mountain ranges, and On rotten logs.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is overwhelmingly light.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release millions of spores.
