Silverfinger Tree

This colossal tree grows up to 125 meters (410.1 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 119 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a knobbly, slanted trunk covered in very thick, wrinkled, silver and white bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow-brown.

The small handful of branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with very large amounts of soft, small, finger-like leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are found in amber and purple varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, grey, shelled seeds.

The roots are long and grow straight down, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
