Clinging Silvervine
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. Its copper stem is thick, and the miniature, silver leaves are asymmetrical with toothed edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.
Each stem splits 6 to 8 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 44 cm (17.3 inches) wide, with solid lime petals and a lime central disk. The flower head is shaped like a tube with 24 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.
It has an intense scent that smells like something putrid, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by the wind.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
