Bloodvine

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 32 feet (9.8 meters) and growing as high as 898 feet (273.7 meters). It prefers to grow on rock formations.

It takes 3 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The thin, smooth leaves reach up to 1.5 feet (46 cm) in length. They are blue and blood red, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of giant bronze flowers.
