Bloodgrass

This short, blood red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are robust and they are exceptionally hardy.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, red flower.

During the late autumn, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
