Copper Spire Cactus

Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)

This average-sized cactus grows up to 36 feet (11.0 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 6 thick stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in sharp spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 7 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid sky blue petals decorated with blue dots and a lilac central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 7 years. The flower head is shaped like a bowl with 47 raised, narrow petals. It has a strong scent that smells like pine needles.

The cactus's skin is thin, the gold flesh is slimy, and the cream sap is thin.

The stems are covered in large spikes.
