Bloodvine

This small bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 21 feet (6.4 meters) and growing as high as 319 feet (97.2 meters).

It takes 7 months for the burgundy stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are smooth and rubbery.

The very thin, clammy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are blood red on the edges and cream at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many clusters of small bronze flowers.
