Spiny Orange Cactus

This small cactus grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 5 very thin stems. Each stem is lime green, and is covered in sharp spines. The spherical body is orange, and is covered in brittle caramel spines.

It is very fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are generally indigo; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 22 petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like a newborn baby.

The cactus's skin is thick, the deep yellow flesh is rough, and the hazel sap is thin and can kill if consumed.
