Emerald Blue Succulent

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) tall. The perforated stem is light brown, and is covered in sharp spines. The pebble-like leaves are a shade of emerald that gradient shifts to brilliant blue at the top. Large amounts of them grow on very thick, burgundy branches that trail down across the ground. The leaves are flimsy, but do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid cyan petals decorated with bronze dots and a violet central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of widely spaced round-tipped petals. It has a mildly strong scent that smells like onion.

The leaf succulent's skin is very thick, the purple flesh is waxy, and the bold orange sap is thin.
