Rosepetal Vine

This average-sized flower grows up to 10 inches (25 cm) tall. Its pink-red stems grow in bunches of 8 and are thin with a curved tip, and the large, red leaves are asymmetrical with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

6 to 12 large flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 11 cm (4.3 inches) wide, with petals that are either yellow or pink, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a fairly strong scent that smells like roses, and it has a modest amount of pollen. It is pollinated by insects and is visited by a large variety of them.
