Clinging Limegrass

This large, lime green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in thin clumps that are resilient and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, orange tuft.

During the early winter, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
