Climbing Azurevine

This massive bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,124 feet (342.6 meters) and growing as high as 668 feet (203.6 meters).

It takes 40 years for the red stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and are smooth and woody.

The needle-like, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are azure and indigo, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces many average magenta flowers.
