Copperwind Grass
Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are sturdy and flexible and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, dark brown puff.
During the early winter, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.
A particular bird species likes to nest in it.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
