Crimson Emerald Moss

This red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands, In heathlands, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in sparse patches, and is slightly delicate.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
