Emerald Clump Moss

This gray moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In bogs, and On rotten logs.
It is big, growing up to 8 inches (20 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is extremely durable; it can easily endure flooding and draughts.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
