Aquamaraud Leafsucculent

This small leaf succulent grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The thick stem is azure, and is covered in handfuls of fine, gold, hair-like spines. The rounded-edged, circular leaves are solid aquamarine with blood red splotches. Very large amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are pliable, but detach easily.

It is slow growing, taking 17 years to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with petals that are bronze at the sides and white at the center, grow at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is largely flat with 47 raised narrow petals. It has a weak scent that smells like ashes.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the hazel flesh is rough, and the gold sap is thin.
