Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 100 feet (30.5 meters).

It takes 9 months for the blood red or sky blue stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The thick, crispy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are found in green and turquoise varieties, and have ripped edges.

During late spring, the bine produces several average bronze flowers.

Several parts of the caudiciform have medicinal properties.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
