Boggy Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In bogs.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps and they spread and grow quickly, and is very resilient; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald circular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
