Emerald Clump Moss

This emerald and drab green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps On trees, In marshes, and In bogs.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely delicate; it burns easily in strong sunlight.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-autumn to release dozens of spores.
