Coppervine

This massive vine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,222 feet (982.1 meters) and growing as high as 557 feet (169.8 meters).

It takes 35 years for the orange stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3.0 feet (91 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The spear shaped, leathery leaves reach up to 9 inches (23 cm) in length. They are olive on the edges and copper at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the vine produces a handful of tiny light brown flowers.
