Clinging Amberberry

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 41 years. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has many flexible, straight stems covered in very thick, cracked, yellow bark, and the wood inside is silver.

The branches are short, thin and wispy with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, spear shaped, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are solid magenta with gold streaks, durable and crispy.

It produces large amounts of large, black flowers with cylindrical petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They fall easily and have a soft scent that smells like old books. In late summer it forms largeamber berries.
