Clinging Emerald Petal

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. Its emerald stem is very thin and straight, and the small, dark brown leaves are asymmetrical with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

2 to 5 medium-sized flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 46 cm (18.1 inches) wide, with pink petals on the lower layer and yellow petals decorated with cyan dots on the inner layer. The central disk is turquoise. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a soft scent that smells like pot-purri, and it has very little pollen. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
