Cliffpine
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized tree grows up to 59 meters (193.6 feet) tall and lives for over 2,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 2335 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a thick, wonky trunk covered in thick, cracked, silver and white bark, and inside, the very light wood is burgundy.
The thick clumps of branches are short, rigid and upright, covered with small amounts of tiny, green needles. The needles themselves are delicate.
In late summer it produces small, grey aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with the space between filled with undergrowth.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
