Turquoise Puff Grass

This short, yellow grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in thin clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, turquoise puff.

During the late summer, it produces copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
