Grass type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This short, hazel and caramel grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in large clumps that are delicate.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, aquamarine flower.
During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of small grains.
It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
