Bloodvine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 9 feet (2.7 meters)0. It prefers to grow on rock formations.
It takes 10 months for the olive and orange stems to mature, by which point they sometimes have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The wispy, clammy leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are red at the bottom and azure with orange lines at the top, and have smooth edges.
During late spring, the bine produces lots of average blood red flowers.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
