Coralvine Grass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short, pink-red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in small clumps that are robust and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, bronze flower.

During the mid-summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of medium-sized grains.

It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
It is often home to a particular bird species.
All parts of the grass are edible.
